So I was pet-sitting my friend's cat, Lockie.

And at some point, while he was staring at me from across the room (you know the look), I started wondering - do our pets actually think we're like... big weird version of them? We feed them, hang out with them, talk to them in random voices. Do they think we're one of them?

Anyway, that thought stuck. And then I thought, what if we flipped it around:

If a cat and a dog were looking at your face, which one would think you're family?

Not like "do you prefer cats or dogs" - more like, which one would claim you as their own?

That's basically what this is. Not serious at all, just a dumb fun idea that came from one very judgy cat. Oh and it's just cats and dogs for now - most of us have one of those anyway.
